This is a genuine earth mined spodumene ( spodumene is better known as a pink stone... the pink variety of it is called kunzite.... ) not a lab produced stone.
If you are not sure how big this is , make certain you check on a measure marked in millimeters... the standard for measuring gems. I only sell genuine earth mined gems, not man made. Kunzite was discovered in 1902, and was named after George Kuntz , Tiffany & Co's chief jeweler. Care must be taken with Kunzite ,as long exposure times to strong sunlight may cause the color to fade. Do not leave on a sunny ledge for extended periods. It is known as the stone of emotion, and said to open the heart to love.
