In summer I can provide fresh basil from my garden. These are ground dried basil leaves, rubbed. The full spice jar holds about 15 to 20 grams. They can be used in spaghetti sauces, soups, stews add to omelettes, salads and marinades, and with roasted vegetables, etc. No need to grind them further.... just rub them between your palms when adding, to release the fragrance and essential oils. Use about 1/3 as much of if you were using fresh basil....
