THIS IS A GENUINE EARTH MINED Emerald, set in silver with a rhodium coating to prevent tarnishing. Looks the same as white gold. Accent stones are clear topaz. I have been a gemologist for decades I am now long retired I am selling off all my stock at well below retail replacement value, even before sale prices. profits go to help animal charities. Retail replacement is for bricks and mortar stores with high overheads. My price is dependent on what I had to pay. Many of my items were purchased decades ago. Emerald is what is known as a type 111 gem ( almost all of them have inclusions) . Expect inclusions! ( inclusions in any gem are not, as some think, always a bad thing. They help a gemologist determine the authenticity of a gem. Genuine emeralds being a type 111 are VERY expensive without inclusions.
